Today, we’re kicking off our Christmas Edit, which will hopefully provide you with great gift ideas for your loved ones and friends. If you haven’t already got something in mind, or your presents all sorted, we’re here to help! In this first part of our Christmas gifting guide, it’s all about Home Decor or, well, basically stuff to prettify your homes with.
First up, Dior has launched a Capsule Collection based on the Cruise 2019 Toile de Jouy theme. Traditionally, these prints feature pastoral and landscape imagery, but Maria Grazia Chiuri changed it up and turned the Dior version into a fantastical world with wild animals. For the Homeware Capsule, lions, snakes and monkeys are depicted on plates, tablecloths, candles, cushions, and even notebooks in red, blue, green, or black.
Gucci first debuted its home Decor collection in 2017 ranging from furniture, silk partitions and cushions, to mugs and scented candles that come encased in pretty porcelain, complete with a cover on top. This Holiday season, the House gives us 2 brand new designs for its scented candles: a magical eye motif (that also comes with the matching cushion), as well as the Maison De L’amour (translation: House of Love). Not only would these create the most pleasant of smells in one’s living spaces, but it would also be the perfect gift for someone who’s a fan of scented candles. Though I ain’t one, there’s no denying that there are many who’d absolutely love them!
And to round up our Home Decor edition of our Christmas Edit, nothing says injects the Holiday Spirit as much as Christmas tree ornaments like these Bottega Veneta Christmas baubles. Hand-blown by Murano artisans, this set of beautiful glass orbs are all topped off with the House’s iconic intrecciato motif, from which they hang! What a truly luxurious Christmas tree it’s gonna be with these dangling off it! 😉
If you’re not looking for any homeware, then stay tuned for our second part of our Christmas gift guide, featuring luxury stationery!
