Gucci brand ambassador, Chinese actress Ni Ni reprises her role for the third consecutive season, as the star of the new Fall/Winter 18 Eyewear campaign. Entitled A Press Conference With Ni Ni, the campaign was inspired by Hollywood press conferences of the 70s and 80s.
Shot by Colin Dodgson and art directed by Christopher Simmonds, Ni Ni wears an oversized optical style with minimal metal frame and embellished with a gold metal bumble bee and a Gucci logo on the right lens with an interlocking GG hinge and plastic end-tips that recall the Gucci Web stripe in green and red.
Here, the oversized square frame with pale pink lenses is reminiscent of the 80s. Like the other frame above, this pair also has a gold metal bumble bee and Gucci logo on the right lens, and the temple end-tips with coloured effects similar to that of the Sylvie bag.
Watch out for the campaign, which will be dropping in magazines globally this month!
