In an era of Logomania, Longchamp has jumped on board with the introduction of a new logo collection. But, if you’re expecting something that’s monogrammed in the classic style, there isn’t any of that here. Instead, the new Longchamp LGP is a youthful, fun, and playful graphic logo in graphic black and white, or red and black, on nylon – totally street style worthy and imbued with energetic vibes.
The Le Pliage® LGP line comprises backpacks, fanny packs, multi-style pouches that can be carried either vertically or horizontally, on travel bags, and yes, of course, not forgetting the signature nylon tote.
If you’re not a fan of nylon, there’s another variation of the new logo print, which is appliquéd onto leather. This range, known as the Le Pliage® Cuir LGP comprises holdalls, and a new tote silhouette with long handles so that they can be carried comfortably on the shoulder. For those of us in Asia, there will also be an exclusive powder pink with black and white accented colourway created especially for us. Oh, luggage too, gets the logo treatment, including an ultra-light wheeled cabin case with micro-monogram in black and white, with pops of neon on its trims!
What a refreshing take on a monogram this is! Who’d have ever thought of attempting to create a monogram in such a manner? Hands down, my absolute favourite out of all the monograms out there. Though I’m not usually a monogram person, I’m certainly Logo Loco for this one, especially the one with the graphic allover monogram in black and white, which is to die for!
