New Campaign for Seattle’s Sound Transit Depicts Future of Commuting
If you’ve ever seen the Jetsons, Back to the Future, or even WALL-E, you know Hollywood’s vision for the future of transportation is out of this world. From jetpacks to teleportation and everything in between, these transportation methods may seem cool in theory, but how realistic are they for the everyday commuter?
Seattle-based creative agency Copacino+Fujikado’s first work for Sound Transit, the public transit agency that services the metropolitan Seattle area answers that query. “The Future of Sound” spots show the challenges of future transportation tech, and underline that Sound Transit, which is currently undergoing a massive expansion of its light rail, is the future of travel.
The three spots, titled “Malfunction,” “Sorry,” and “Small Talk” depict mishaps such as air traffic whilst jetpacking, only half of a man’s body arriving on the teleportation platform, and the struggle to make commuting chatter over the sound of jet packs.
The spots will appear in local broadcast and across social channels. I’ve attached some examples of the hilarious social content! Let me know what you think, and if you’re interested in speaking to someone from Copacino+Fujikado for more information.
