In its first collaboration together, Goodyear and The Marketing Arm have created social media video content to support the brand’s 2016 college football campaign, “Blimpworthy”, which celebrates the hard work, determination and grit of college football players, coaches and fans.
The spot, “Noble Obsession,” leverages the popularity of workout hype videos to focus on all that goes on before the game – and specifically the pre-game preparation and hard work that goes into creating “Blimpworthy” moments possible on game day.
In the spot, Eric Thomas, a well-known motivational speaker, delivers an impassioned speech about the value of hard work and preparation. Actual clips from universities are interjected throughout the spot, showcasing the players and fans that make up the excitement of college football. A custom music track created by Jingle Punks features sound bites from Eric Thomas, with him encouraging “talk less” and “grid more” and saying “it’s all about the work.”Creative Team
