Bouygues Telecom Share the Greatest Gift in their 2019 Christmas Campaign

Bouygues Telecom once again marks the beginning of the festive season with their touching Christmas advert.

Following the success of last year’s “An Unforgettable Christmas”, featuring awkward dad dancing to Redbone’s “Come Get Your Love”, collecting over 180 million views, the French Telecoms operator brings out yet another heartwarming, family story.

“Father Christmas” follows the story of a devoted dad who, driven by the love for his daughter, goes to impressive lengths to create a magical Christmas for her.

The film launches on the 3rd of November 2019. It was directed by Martin Werner (Henry) and set to the classic “For Once in My Life” by Stevie Wonder.

Bouygues Telecom, Netflix & BETC present: #SpotTheReference

Bouygues Telecom are bringing out a new TV commercial that should intrigue and challenge even the most hardcore Netflix fans! There is a to more to this 60 second drama than what meets the eye - even the eye of an expert.

More precisely, there are 20 hidden references to original Netflix shows in this ad. Your mission? Find them.

Okay. So, you’ve spotted the lights from Stranger Things? Congrats… but that was the easiest one.

To find the other 19 you might want to take a closer look or two – even committed Netflix bingers with a trained eye for details will struggle to spot all the references.

The film created by BETC Paris shows a typical teenage boy chilling in front of Netflix on his phone when the battery suddenly runs out. We follow his desperate quest for a charger to watch the end of his episode. In a typical Bouygues Telecom manner the boy ends up finishing the series on the couch next to his cunning mother (guess who hid the charger…)

The ad that will run on French TV from this month promotes an offer where new premium phone and internet subscribers are offered one year of access to HD and multiple screen Netflix.

If you think you’re up to the challenge, prove it! Challenge your friends, go to spotthereference.com to play and prove you’re the best!

Bouygues Presents “Mamita”

Bouygues Telecom won a lot of hearts over last Christmas with their awkward dad dancing to Redbone’s “Come get your love”. The ad collected over 150 million organic views and the soundtrack became the most Shazamed song in France over the Christmas period.

This new humoristic spot, in line with Bouygues’ DNA, once again plays on family values and aims to show how the brand helps people from different generations connect to each other.

Countryside is usually associated with terrible 4G coverage and waffly sound but Bouygues has spent the past 3 years heavily investing in rural areas and today connects 64 million French people over the country.

The brand was recently recognized as the #1 mobile operator in French rural zones*, however, as this cute film shows, not everyone’s aware of that yet.. A scheming but loving grandmother sneakily plays on her teenage granddaughters ignorance to make her spend some precious quality time together.

The film was directed by Emma Luchini (Stink) and set to the Elvis Costello’s take on Charles Aznavour’s mythical song “She”, also known from the soundtrack of Notting Hill.

An Unforgettable Christmas with Bouygues Telecom and BETC Paris

Christmas has started at Bouygues Telecom who are once again marking the arrival of the festive season with a heartwarming Xmas-advert.

The loving father in this little film is a man with some groovy moves... We get to follow him and his son as the years go by and the kid goes from being a little boy marveling at his dancing father, to an awkward teenager and to finally becoming a dad himself.

The story illustrates how with Bouygues Telecom, a brand new smartphone under the tree is more than just a new piece of technology, it can also be the beginning of new beautiful stories, making generations meet.

The film which was launched on French TV yesterday was directed by Martin Werner (Henry) and set to 'Come and get your Love' by Redbone which fans will recognize from the epic “Guardians of the Galaxy” intro scene.

Betc And Bouygues Take You On The Real Tour De France

Have you always wondered what the French people really are like?

Are they all elegant, slim and chic? Do they eat croissants for breakfast EVERY day? Are French kids the most well-behaved in the world, do young people only listen to electro and do they all still smoke?

Now, for the first time, thanks to an interactive map, created by BETC for its client Bouygues Telecom, it’s finally time to find out the truth about these snail-devouring, mythic creatures; or at least what stories they like to tell through their smart phones.

Bouygues has the largest 4G network in France and prides themselves on being present in every corner of the land of wine and cheese. They cover 99% of France and over 18 000 villages.

To show this in a fun way, BETC Paris and production company Francine Framboise traveled all over France to create a campaign with 91 short videos; featuring Bouygues users all over the country and published them on http://Po.st/4GStories. The videos are geolocated and also tagged with search words such as “beach”, “travel”, “city”…

The entire campaign, from the idea to the site going live was done over the course of only one month.

The website is organic and will leave and breathe through new stories that users can send in via messenger to be published.

Finally, we will find out what happened last night not only in Paris but also in Marseille, Bordeaux, Limoges or Nantes.

Hint: babies, cute animals and body noises speak a universal language…
