New Verizon 5G Ultrawideband Campaign from the community


Here is a new spot from Verizon and cross-cultural creative agency the community that underscores our fixation with speed – and how Verizon has gone beyond speed with the introduction of 5G Ultra Wideband.


The 60-second spot, “First to Real Time,” opens with a montage of individuals and objects associated with speed, ranging from runners and jockeys to racecars and train wheels. The narration addresses our world’s fixation with speed and how, the faster it goes, the faster we need to make it go. This outlook has driven innovation after innovation for centuries, culminating in “the era of real-time” with the launch of the new Verizon 5G Ultra Wideband. Now that Verizon has introduced this new technology, available on the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G, users can be “first to share in real-time,” capturing moments that matter, playing console-quality multiplayer games on the go, and experiencing AR that feels like reality. The spot ends by saying “5G will change everything. It is now in your hands.” The campaign underscores how 5G will change everything, fostering a more connected world and cementing Verizon’s position at the forefront of the next technological revolution.

We Who Run Campaign for Saucony from the community New York



the community New York has launched its first campaign for athletic shoe brand Saucony.

“We Who Run” underscores the message that “running is not an individual sport,” but a collective community of diverse voices, beliefs, attitudes, and personalities.  The centerpiece of the platform comes to life through a four-episode content series featuring a group of influential runners from all over the world. In the series, viewers followed the runners on the physical and emotional journey of an epic run through the mountains of Colorado, as participants share what running means to them. A select number of spots also take place at Saucony’s Boston headquarters and captures the testing, debating, discussing, innovating, inventing, and running behind the gear that enables and empowers these runners.

Campaign elements include online live video, digital display, social, and print. To build the content, the community New York brought runners to Colorado and shot the content over the course of two days.

New Holiday Campaign from Verizon and the community San Francisco



The holiday season brings families and friends together, but also causes worry around “what to say to each other.” I wanted to share details around a new, poignant spot from Verizon and cross-cultural creative agency the community that addresses how the words we share can bring us closer to the people we love.

“Thanksgiving Moment,” which aired during Thursday’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, shows a text message conversation between father and son. The exchange grows increasingly vulnerable as the son addresses their relationship, as well as his dynamic with his own son has shed light on it. The ad ends with the familiar image of ellipses as the father types his response followed by a reminder that, once you find the words, Verizon will make sure they get there.

New Campaign around Verizon’s New 5G from the community


Here is the latest Verizon campaign, developed in partnership with cross-cultural creative agency the community, ahead of the launch of its new 5G Ultra-Wideband.

“Firsts” celebrates the brand’s legacy as an industry leader as the brand prepares to unveil Verizon 5G, yet again proving its position at the forefront of the fourth industrial revolution. 

Featuring footage from 1983, “First Call” shows the first commercial wireless phone call in Chicago as Verizon engineer John Foley shares his memories from that day. 



The second spot, "First to CDMA,” includes a 1989 video of Los Angeles-based Verizon engineers testing CDMA technology, which allows users to make calls on the move without losing signal. While the first two spots draw on the past, the third and final one looks toward the future. 



 “First to 5G” unpacks the different “firsts” the brand’s engineers completed in order to create the first and only 5G Ultra-Wideband – a development that, ultimately, will change how people learn, work, and live.

Verizon Unlimited Campaign Features Spokesperson in Español

In the midst of meaningful everyday events, having the right mobile network can make all the difference. Cross-cultural creative agency the community has launched a new campaign for Verizon Unlimited that emphasizes and personalizes this message.

The spot, “Date Interrupted” features a Spanish-speaking couple dines al fresco, enjoying a rare evening away from their baby. Just as they begin to relax, the woman realizes she can no longer view their digital baby monitor on her phone, panicking as she urges her partner to eat faster. Almost instantaneously, Thomas Middleditch, Verizon’s spokesperson of HBO’s Silicon Valley fame, swoops in, but realizes there’s one he hadn’t encountered until now: Spanish speakers. Mexican actor Luis Gerardo Mendez, who is “Thomas but in español,” then comes to save the day, explaining how Verizon has the best network with the best unlimited.
