This Fall/Winter 2019, Longchamp debuts its first ever sneaker collection. And, since sneakers are still all the rage, the Maison is not too late to the party, either, because these days, sneakers are virtually paired with everything imaginable. From ballgowns and power suits, to more casual looks like sweaters and jeans, sneakers have become the go-to footwear.
Known as the Freeminder Sneaker, it comes with a chunky, wedge-shaped outsole, and a no-tie elastic lace that can be adjusted with just the push of the bullet-shaped toggle mechanism, which is a reference to the House’s iconic bamboo. The jockey on a galloping horse logo, is found on the sneaker’s sole.
Though available only in a single style, the signature Freeminder Sneaker comes in graphic black-and-white python- and crocodile- embossed calfskin, in python-printed leather patchwork, a soft blue and beige suede combo, and of course, in classic all-white.
My pick would definitely be the black and white python-effect combo. What about yours?
